The S model shares the same 440hp 4.7 liter engine from another Italian beauty, the Alfa 8C Competizone, and is coupled with the MC-Shift gearbox. Other performance enhancements include dual cast iron and aluminum brake discs with aluminum 6 piston calipers built by Brembo, exclusively for Maserati.
